What BidCheetah is
BidCheetah is a marketplace that connects homeowners with local contractors for home-services projects, plus software tools that contractors use to manage their own customers, estimates, jobs and invoices. Contractors are independent businesses; BidCheetah LLC does not perform, warrant or guarantee any contractor's work, pricing, availability or conduct.
A lead or project request is an inquiry — not a guaranteed job, appointment or contract. Homeowners choose which contractors receive their project details.
Text message (SMS) phone verification terms
Program name: BidCheetah phone verification, operated by BidCheetah LLC.
Status: not active. This SMS program is not active yet. BidCheetah does not currently send any text messages, and the verification program described below will not begin until our messaging provider approves it and the safeguards described here are verified. Until then, support is available by email at info@bidcheetah.net.
When active, BidCheetah will send text messages containing one-time verification codes to confirm that a cell phone number belongs to the person using it. Messages will be sent only when you request a code; message frequency will vary with your requests. We do not plan to send marketing text messages.
- Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier.
- Planned opt-out: we plan to support replying STOP to any message to opt out at any time. This handling is required before activation and will be verified before the program launches; it is not operational today.
- Planned help: we plan to support replying HELP for help. This too will be verified before activation and is not operational today. You can always reach us at info@bidcheetah.net.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your carrier and device and is not guaranteed.
- Consent to receive verification texts is not a condition of using other BidCheetah features.
- Your SMS consent is used only for phone verification. It is never sold or transferred to contractors or marketing partners. This is separate from the project contact sharing you direct when you choose contractors for a quote.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate information, to request quotes only for properties you are authorized to discuss, and not to misuse the service to harvest contractor or customer information. Measurements and map outlines shown in the app are customer-provided planning input, not professional measurements; contractors confirm scope, pricing and availability.
Contractor terms
Contractor accounts are reviewed before receiving customer details. Lead pricing, free unlocks and credit policies will be published before launch. Contractors are responsible for their own licensing, insurance, proposals, contracts, work and warranties.
